-Go to your internet connection settings.

-Leave everything as it was before until you come to a choice of 3 options

-Click the PPoe

-Enter for the username and password (these are the original ones eircom provide)
username - Eircom@eircom.net
password - Broadband1


-Click auto for everything else

Now you have NAT1/NAT TYPEpen

I use this setting and it works perfectly

hi,guide worked great for me, when posted (thanks to all ) but its seems today i can't go online, it's obtaining an IP address, and when fails it states that i've the wrong PPPoE user name or password. This would hardly have been changed would it?
